Before coming into this class I did have a twitter, I wasn't a bigger user of it. I never checked on it or tweeted anything. When I did check on twitter I did find it beneficial because it helped me say updated on real time events and it kept me connected with my friends. Twitter would definitely be helpful in my future career as a teacher because I will be able to keep my student updated on work and assignment due.  I could also retweet articles about things we talked about in class to get them more information.
Digital Divide affect school throughout the country, students do not have the same opportunities to use technology as everyone else . Different communities and school have different resources available to them. How much funding school districts get and how much money individual school receive. Also students home lives effect what kind of technology student are able to use. As a teacher you need to understand that not all of your students will have to resources them need to complete online assignments. You must give the student options to complete in class or give the a paper vision if they can not complete the task.
With my students I feel like I would use Educational games because I feel like the students will get the most out of it in the age of elementary. Students at this age just want to play so if you can turn a game into something educational it will help them but also they will have too. It will help them practice the lessons we have learned and help them review for the quiz/tests. A software I feel like I won't use a lot of would be concept-mapping software because with elementary aged students I don't feel like it will be use very often.
