Teachers are influenced to use technology to connect students not only to other classrooms in the school but to events or people around the country and world. Students are influenced to use technology because they are growing up in the age of technology and teachers are showing them new tools to use to helping them be successful in life.
    The Standard that I think is the most meaningful would be Facility and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity because you are promoting students to be creative in the classroom and also by using technology, this is important because this is the time that student can show who the really are. The standard that would be out of my skill set right now would be Communication and Collaboration because during school we never really work on this one. I feel like this is an important skill to have because students must be able to collaborate with others and work efficiently.
     Digital Native are people that grew up using technology for example students today are Digital Natives. They are coming into the classroom already know how some pieces of technology work. While on the other hand teachers could be called digital immigrant because they are having to learn new forms of technology whereas their students already know. This does make it a little hard for the teachers because they must be two step ahead of their student when it comes to technology. Technology is always growing and changing so as a teacher I must be with the curve and change with them.
