Before coming into this class I did have a twitter, I wasn't a bigger user of it. I never checked on it or tweeted anything. When I did check on twitter I did find it beneficial because it helped me say updated on real time events and it kept me connected with my friends. Twitter would definitely be helpful in my future career as a teacher because I will be able to keep my student updated on work and assignment due.  I could also retweet articles about things we talked about in class to get them more information.    Digital Divide affect school throughout the country, students do not have the same opportunities to use technology as everyone else . Different communities and school have different resources available to them. How much funding school districts get and how much money individual school receive. Also students home lives effect what kind of technology student are able to use. As a teacher you need to understand that not all of your students will have to resource...

The Technology Standard that I feel like I would be able to teach would be the "Multimedia:" Literature because it's using technology to make a presentation and make characters, setting, plots come alive for the students. This standard I would feel like I would use the most of to make sure the students understand the lessons. The standard I would need to learn more about would be "Producing" Tech Standards W/WHST.2 "write to explain/inform because this is important to be clear when you are writing and I feel like I need a little help with that because sometime and I can not be clear with my writing.     With my students I would like to use Dedicated Social Networking so if my students miss class they can go online and check.  Also I would like to stream media player so I can listen to audio, so maybe I could have to text book able to listen to it for my students. The digital citizenships I would use would be Student can demonstrate "netiquette" i...

My teachers used Word to give instructions and project on the white board. My teachers would also use it to make hand-outs to give to the class. Microsoft Word was a very important tool in teaching students.      Copyright is a topic talked about every at the beginning of every school year, copyright and fair use of materials is something in every syllabus. We are taught the plagiarism is not tolerate and they showed us ways you use copyright the right way. Teacher must inform their students on what is allowed and what is not. As a teacher, I will show my students examples of the correct way to use copyrights and the wrong ways. I feel like this will be the best way for students to learn is through examples. Throughout the school year I will help them understand the correct way. My students w...

Teachers are influenced to use technology to connect students not only to other classrooms in the school but to events or people around the country and world. Students are influenced to use technology because they are growing up in the age of technology and teachers are showing them new tools to use to helping them be successful in life.     The Standard that I think is the most meaningful would be Facility and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity because you are promoting students to be creative in the classroom and also by using technology, this is important because this is the time that student can show who the really are. The standard that would be out of my skill set right now would be Communication and Collaboration because during school we never really work on this one. I feel like this is an important skill to have because students must be able to collaborate with others and work efficiently.      Digital Native are people that grew up using technol...
